At New Forest Safety, our mission is to make health and safety clear, practical and genuinely effective for every business we support. We are committed to protecting people, strengthening organisations and raising standards by delivering tailored, proportionate solutions that go beyond simple compliance.
New Forest Safety was created with the aim of doing things differently from traditional consultancies. We embed ourselves within your business, working closely with you to understand your operations, culture and challenges — a "we" approach, not a "you" directive. Our goal is not just to help you meet legal requirements, but to create safer workplaces where teams can thrive and businesses can grow with confidence.
We currently operate across the UK, providing professional health and safety support to a wide range of clients and sectors, with services delivered effectively across the country.
About the director
Harriet Calvert TechIOSH IMaPS
New Forest Safety is led by Harriet Calvert TechIOSH IMaPS, a construction safety professional specialising in CDM consultancy and Principal Designer support. With over a decade of experience in the construction industry, Harriet works with clients, designers and contractors to help them understand and fulfil their duties under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015, as well as other relevant UK health and safety legislation.
She has supported a wide range of projects, including residential developments, refurbishments and commercial works, helping project teams manage risk effectively from the earliest design stages through to completion.
Harriet holds a Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Strategic Health and Safety Leadership and Management, and a Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training, enabling her to deliver clear, practical guidance and training to project teams and duty holders.
